Your privacy is important to me. This means that I do not store unnecessary personal data, that all client data and documents are stored securely, and that no documents are retained longer than necessary. All paper documents with personal data are shredded upon completion of the translation project. Below you can read my privacy policy in more detail.

Personal data
We process your personal data because you use our services and/or provide services to us.
We process the following personal data:
– first and last name;
– gender;
– address;
– telephone number;
– email address;
– bank account number.
Special and/or sensitive personal data
It is not the intention of our website and/or service to collect any data on website visitors who are younger than 16 years, unless they have received permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16 years. We recommend that parents closely monitor the online activities of their children in order to prevent data on their children from being collected without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected the personal data of a minor without parental consent, please send an email to jan.machiel.butter@wxs.nl.We will then delete this information.
Purpose and legal basis of the processing of personal data
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
– to settle your payment;
– to call or email you, if such is necessary to perform our services.
In certain instances, we also process your personal data if we are legally required to do so, e.g. in the event that these data are needed for our tax return.
Retention of personal data
We will not store your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data are being collected.
Sharing personal data with third parties
We will only share your personal data with third parties if such is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or in order to comply with our legal requirements.

We do not use cookies or comparable technologies.
Access to or rectification or erasure of data
You have the right to access your personal data and to request that the controller rectify or erase them. Furthermore, you have the right to withdraw your permission for the processing of your personal data or to object to the processing of your personal data by us. You also have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to receive your personal data as processed by us, in a computer file.
Please send your requests for access, rectification, erasure or transfer of your personal data, or requests for withdrawal of your permission or objections to store your personal data to jan.machiel.butter@wxs.nl.
Security of personal data
We take the protection of your personal data seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised changes to your personal data.
